A very disappointing experience staying at this place. It may have been a beautiful place in the past but it is deteriorating and will be uncomfortable if you are not used to roughing it in a cabin in the woods. Some may excuse it by calling it romantic and historic, but if it is costing you more than a Motel 6, you want more than that. Tried to contact the staff but I am still waiting for a reply to my message. Will update this when I receive a response from them, if ever.
Really unique stay but service at the restaurant was not great. Super long wait to be seated served and to get the check. Also WiFi hardly works. Rooms are rustic and cute but entire place is quite rundown. It was a good experience overall.
We went here for a group dinner. You must make a reservation in advance. The food is outstanding with a creative presentation. The kitchen made real time modifications for our toddler and teen so that they had a fun meal too. This is an expensive restaurant but well worth it.
The Rose Cottage was fantastic, with so many wonderful details, a comfy bed, and what a view of the nightly sunset from the patio door! Breakfast left on our porch was delicious, and dinner in the dining room was absolutely perfect! A very romantic getaway, with stunning views around every corner of Hwy 1.
