We loved Spanishtown restaurant. The decor is traditional – very colorful and welcoming. Food is delicious and generous. Veggie Fajitas were just what I wanted and very flavorful, and my hubby was able to try several items on his combo plate. The staff were so friendly and gave great service. Would definitely recommend giving Spanishtown a try!

Found this place on Google and I’m glad I did. I have a hard time with beef chunks but this restaurant also offers ground beef as an option. Most Mexican places I’ve been to don’t really season the ground beef, if they even offer it. Spanishtoen seasoned it perfectly. I had the beef enchilada and beef taco combo and they were delicious and the waiter did a fine job. Will definitely be back.

Restaurant was beautiful inside but outside was like a secret garden with a water element. The area was so pretty very quiet. I will definitely be bringing my family back.

I am addicted to their crisp veg chimichangas, made with herbed mashed potatoes. But the chilis rellenos, veg fajitas, and quesadillas are also really good.
The service is always excellent. The wait staff is so friendly! I rarely drink but must say the margaritas are worth a try and there are some good beers available.

Long-Awaited Visit Worth the Hype
After years of saying “I need to stop in”, I finally made it to Spanishtown Mexican Restaurant, and I’m glad I did. Coastside locals, take note—this spot is absolutely worth a visit (and repeat visits).
What We Ordered (see photos):
Guava Margarita
Cadillac Jalapeño Margarita
Chimichanga
Mole Chicken
Guacamole with Chips
Drinks:
The margaritas were on point. Balanced, flavorful, and just the right amount of kick. The guava margarita was refreshing, and the Cadillac with jalapeño brought the perfect heat.
Food:
The mole sauce stood out—deep, rich, and clearly made in-house. It had layers of flavor that hit all the right notes. The chimichanga was perfectly crisped and generously filled, and the homemade tortillas were a warm, comforting touch that took things to the next level.
Don’t skip the guac—it’s fresh and satisfying. And shout-out to the table “hot” salsa—legit had me laughing through the heat, in the best way.
Service & Atmosphere:
Friendly, fast, and easygoing. The team here was on top of things and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering.
Final Verdict:
Thumbs up all around. Great food, solid drinks, and genuine vibes. As a coastside local, this one’s going into the regular rotation. Already looking forward to the next round of mole and margaritas.
