I have been a regular here for years sharing this hoping the quality of the food and smooties can improve with this feedback. The last 4+ times we’ve ordered our regular smoothies and wraps they have come out really bad. Either drenched in dressing and wet lettuce, or the smooties had very little flavor. I’ve ordered the same thing for a long time and it keeps consistently being made worse and worse.
Today we ordered our usual order of 4 smooties and 2 wraps when it arrived the entire order was flavorless. I paid extra for more vanilla even and it still tastes like it’s over iced down. All 4 smoothies had little to no flavor. The 2 wraps were cooked through completely where the lettuce was hot and wilted and one wrap was pretty much mostly croutons. I took one bite and threw it out.
This has been a common experience only lately. What happened? The food and smoothies were not always this bad. They really are not being measured correctly or made well anymore.
I had a great first visit to Smoothies Galore! Brooke helped me at the counter and was incredibly kind and informative. She took the time to explain the different categories of smoothies—ranging from fruit-forward to acai-based to yogurt-blended options—and walked me through the available “power-ups.”
I ordered the Im-Peachment smoothie. While the flavor was decent, I could tell the peaches used weren’t fresh, which made the overall taste a bit less vibrant. Next time, I’d like to stick with options that use fresher ingredients, as that makes a big difference for me.
I really appreciated that they offer pea protein, which is my preferred choice for plant-based protein drinks. The smoothie itself was huge for a medium size—definitely filling and satisfying.
Although I didn’t try any, I noticed they also offer sandwiches and wraps, which gives me a reason to come back. I forgot to ask, but I’m curious if they offer a rewards system, as I’d definitely return and would love to earn points over time.
All in all, Smoothies Galore delivers friendly service, quality ingredients (especially if you stick to their fresher options), and generous portions.
Excellent alternative to jamba juice. Quiet, friendly atmosphere with large menu and bathrooms, a great place for a quick travel stop. I ordered the regular strawberry banana smoothie “Atypicool” which tastes as good as jamba at a larger size costing less. Also often includes smoothie “power” with drink if you are into that.
