Back in Humboldt and Fortuna visiting family. I went in to Smokin Barrels with my son and my two brothers. We didn’t eat, but had some beers. Got great service, first at the bar and then at one of the high top tables. Great atmosphere in the place. Nice bar with a ton of TV’s to watch the games, a full bar, and a nice selection of taps. Food smells fantastic and the next time we are in town we will definitely be getting some dinner!

Food is awesome. We had to wait 1 hour plus for our food though. Saw people that came in after us get served before us. Waitress was very polite! The chairs are super uncomfortable my back hurt the next day because my spine was digging into the wooden back.
Food is always excellent and (most of the time) worth the wait! Every now and then they wont drain all of the oil off the fries so they are super oily

My party seemed to like their burgers and they did look good. I ordered the nachos with tri tip. It looked nothing like the picture on their website. It was just chips, nacho cheese, tomatoes, olives and thin squares of tri tip. There was no sour cream. Tri tip was cut so small it was dry, almost like jerky. Thoroughly disappointed for $18.50.
And there were a lot of flies flying around. Waitress was very kind and attentive.

Stopped by Smokin Barrels Burgers & BBQ and was seriously impressed. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the BBQ has that legit smoky flavor you can tell comes from doing it the right way. Portions are solid and everything tasted fresh. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, even when it was busy. You can tell they take pride in the food they’re putting out. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving a good burger or some solid BBQ. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

Nice music, nice server but the food was wack and the ambiance was okay. I asked for a medium rare burger and get no pink in my meat.. Mac and cheese and some unfamiliar garnish that I did not care for. (Sorry to those who like it, not my forte). My partner’s brisket sandwich wasn’t satisfying and I tried his clams chowder, wasn’t thick. It was think and the clams did not taste fresh.. the food didn’t match their prices. Never going again, but it’s always nice to go on a date with my love.
