Couldn’t recommend this place more. My fiancee and I had the pleasure of staying with Scott and Susie via Harvest Hosts, and they were fantastic hosts indeed. Very generous with pours and a beautiful location (enjoyed the tasting room downtown as well before heading out to the ranch).

Amazing wine tasting at a newly public brand. Great locally sourced grapes, some dry farmed (new to me, great given the drought), and bold reds. Worth the drive out if you’re in the Clearlake / Kelseyville area.

Smiling Dog Ranch/Winery lives up to its name for animal lovers as well, the whole crew (5 dogs) came out to greet me on my way out.
