Been enjoying the wine and the live music at Smiling Dogs for years. Now, with the new sound system, it really rocks on Friday night, 3 seasons per year. One of the few places around to hear jazz.

This very small wine pub is located among many small shops in central Kelseyville. On Friday nights from 6:30 to 9 30 they have live music. Even with a small area to work with this establishment has mastered selling excellent wines that are hand picked as well as award winners from local vintners. They present live musicians that perform jazz music for dancing, creating a following of many Iocial patrons as well loyal patrons throughout Lake County.

Great wines and an awesome tasting room. Taste lots of wines for $5 (waived if you buy a bottle) – I particularly love the reds (and lots have won big awards)! And bring in your own food if you want to – lots of good options on the same street.
