This is a cute “small” zoo. The skywalk is definitely the highlight. Took us about 2 hours to slowly make our way through the zoo and see everything. I felt it was a bit on the pricey side. $25 for seniors.

This “zoo” doesn’t have many animals, but the ones they have are great! Walkways up high through the Redwoods are really fun (and I’m scared of heights!). It has a fantastic layout for walking and everyone was just happy and friendly. It was a really happy, positive experience in every way! Highly recommended! And there’s a gray parrot that likes to say, “Hieeee!” We had such a great time there! Go!

It’s such a nice zoo. Not big like big city ones but a total natural environment. Most zoos are all concrete but this one is in Forrest area. Beautiful sequoia trees and all lush vegetation. It may not have all the attractions of a big one but it blows them away with scenery. And as far as the skywalk. Not recommended for people scared of heights. The suspension bridges can be a little freaky. It a great time must visit if in Arcada.

We came to this zoo from Sacramento, and it was definitely worth the trip. The zoo is not very large, but it is quite unique. The grounds were clean and well-maintained, with no unpleasant odors.
Everything felt very safe, including the elevated walkways and suspension bridges. We were visiting with a small child, so it was especially reassuring to see that even at higher levels everything was securely enclosed and well protected.
The zoo itself is fairly small — it took us about an hour to walk through the entire area — but it was a very pleasant experience. We were also lucky enough to see a rare animal, the red panda, which made the visit even more special.
Overall, a lovely place that we would recommend!
