We loved it here! Seawolf wines is a beautiful, charming place to visit! It was a bit rainy during our visit, but thanks to the warmth and hospitality of the owner, Jesse, the whole place felt cozy and welcoming.
The wines were the real standout, wonderfully made and genuinely delicious. We even bought a Rosé to share with a friend coming from out of state.
Stopped in on a Friday on our way up to Mendocino. Jesse greeted us and gave us a fantastic tasting. We toured the vineyard and tasted all the wines. Heard all about the grapes and techniques. We were the only ones there so it was one of best tastings we’ve had. Fantastic weather and views as well. Wine was superb. We ended up purchasing one of each wine we tasted.
We had a great visit with Jesse. He is very charming and knowledgeable. The view from the winery is beautiful (we were lucky with the weather). He was able to describe how the wine was made and how it affected the taste. We tasted five wines and bought two bottles of each wine, which is very rare for us. We generally purchase only one or two wines from a winery. I strongly recommend that you visit and try the wines. However, you should be careful in using mapping apps (Apple Maps sent us on a 7 mile detour over very windy roads), I recommend that you use the directions on Sea Wolf’s website.
Second time and it was as good as we remembered! This time we had a short wine tour through the vineyards and got to taste some grapes. It was a great tasting of 5 wines with Jesse giving great wine descriptions, conversations and answering all of our questions. Anytime we’re in the area, we’ll stop by again!
Amazing natural, organic winery! We loved all the red wines but everything was great. Enjoyed spending a Su day afternoon listening to music sitting in Adirondack chairs. Take note: you’ll need a gate code given on your reservation to access the property. Worth the journey to this mountaintop winery!

A place we’ll definitely be coming back to.
