Sgt. Pepper Lonely
Seascape, a seafood specialty restaurant nestled in a prime seaside location, offers a decent dining experience. While I’ve had the pleasure of dining at some of the finest seafood restaurants along the coastal USA, Seascape falls slightly short in terms of preparation. The oysters, crab, and salmon were indeed fresh, but their creamy texture overshadowed the smoky flavor they should have. To enhance the natural freshness of the seafood, they could consider reducing the amount of cheese-mayo. Additionally, the fried dishes were a bit too heavy. However, the coffee and pancakes (or hot cakes) were good. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was fabulous.

Other than a great view, I found the Beachcomber cafe very average. Of the three dishes the salmon sandwich was 90% cream cheese and 10% Salmon with no salmon flavor. The shrimp Louie was bland as was the dressing. The fish and chips tasted mostly of the oil it was deep fried in.
Our one dessert lemon cheesecake was just regular cheesecake with lemon pie filling on top.
Over the $90 meal didn’t live up to expectations or price.

The view and overall ambiance was very pleasing and reminiscent of acquaint seaside town. I’m a clam chowder buff, and although very hearty, it was a bit heavy with potatoes that it masked the clam flavor. I also had their crab sandwich, which was very good, kind of open faced, but I wish the bread was firmer. Bit was saggy and you had to hold with both hands which made it messy to eat. Overall, food was still very good. Everything was priced about right with the higher end being any item with crab in it. Service was kind of blah, but that was alright as I was kind of settled in my own zone. I’d stop here again for the setting and I’d like to try more on the menu

The lady who helped me was very kind and attentive. The food was just what I was hoping for. The biscuits and gravy were solid- quality homemade biscuits with a plentiful amount of delectable gravy with a generous size for the full order. I am glad I picked up a side of bacon as well although it surely did not make for a healthy meal. The strawberry banana mimosa was also a great size. The flavor did not come through as strongly as I thought it would but was good. I would likely try the mango next time. The couple booths next to the pier have views that are second-to-none. And why wouldn’t you take a short walk for the views before or after your meal (I prefer to move a little after a meal before getting back in the car).

The food and service were outstanding. The fish and chips were absolutely amazing, and the potato salad was great too. We loved our seat by the window. The view was lovely. I’d definitely return just for the vibe.
