I had the best fish and chips and best clam chowder here. The fish is very fresh and juicy. The clam chowder, wow, they use a whole clams. One of the best food experiences. I love the patio too, you can sit by the deck and watch the ship’s sails by.

The best fried fish I’ve ever had. The location is so atmospheric, and we were even welcomed by a few seals that would surface from the water. The fish is caught locally, and it really felt like a quintessential communal experience. If I’m ever in fort bragg again I’ll be stopping here.

Amazing food. Had the fish & chips and clam chowder. They have a great cider and beer selection. I’m used to smaller clam pieces like in New England but this was still good. If you’re on the fence about clam I can see where you might not like the texture but the chowder has a great taste of potato and chive.
It can be cold but there are heaters and a fire pit which adds to the cool atmosphere.

Food is very delicious here – this is a must visit place if you happen to be in the area. Chowder and cioppino were loaded with seafood – you better order in paper bowls if you do not eat bread much. We also ordered calamari to share – the portion was good and not over-fried – so calamari was not chewy at all – cooked freshly. Tables could be cleaner: I understand this is a wharf eatery but still a clean table shows respect for your clients.

Not fancy, but possibly the best fish and chips I me or my wife have had. The onion rings were amazing as well. They were made with thickly sliced red onions. The fish portions were generous as well. As of 05/19/2026 the rings were $10 and fish and chips were $17.75. They also have an extensive selection of craft beer on tap. I highly recommend a stop in.
