Our server Louis was amazing. Super helpful and very quick. The calamari was the best, most tender calamari we’ve ever had! The white wine and garlic butter sauce was absolutely amazing. We got the dreamer cocktail which was delicious as well. We also had the fish and chips and bay fettuccine. Both excellent, but by the time the entrees came around we could barely eat them because the clam chowder they serve with dinner is top notch!! One of the overall best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time.

Highly recommend for seafood while in Eureka. The Oysters Rockefeller were amazing! Creamy and just flat out delicious. Also had the calamari. The entrees are huge and served with salad or soup. The chowder is creamy and full of flavor. Service and ambiance were top notch.

Shared our anniversary and little disappointed. The vegetables were all cold. The chowder was really good salad was okay, good and fresh and the prime rib tasted wonderful. Good clean, place, busy but disappointed in the vegetables. Our server brought us out new fresh ones, and she was great.

Five stars for locally caught seaweed + excellent service (thank you, Paula!) + pretty perfectly cooked dishes made for a lovely meal.

We were very happy with the crab cakes (substantive and loaded with crab), lingcod (perfectly cooked), and scallops (scrumptious!); and the crème brûlée for dessert — unfortunately the sugar in the key lime pie was overpowering.

Sadly, the decor in the main dining room is somewhere on the spectrum between thoughtless and ugly, and would greatly benefit from an experienced interior decorator so that the atmosphere reaches the excellence of the food and the service.

We enjoyed the complimentary chowder, and the fried calamari and mushrooms were all good. The seafood fettuccine, however, had more sauce than I prefer. We also noticed afterward that, even though we had a dinner reservation, we were seated on the bar side of the restaurant, next to the staff service door, which has a bit different vibe from the other any area.
