This place was amazing! First of all, the food was spectacular. The half fish and chips dish was delicious, but I absolutely loved the crawdad fritters! I don’t know what they put in the sauce that comes with it, but wow! It was so savory! The staff were also so lovely; they were super friendly, made sure I had all the condiments I needed, and even gave me extra fries!
We are in town from Dallas and this was on our hotels suggestion list. It was a fantastic spot and great food. The fish and chips were fresh, the jambalaya was flavorful, and the boudin balls and fritters were top notch. The owner came to our table and was very friendly and helpful with suggestions, and it made our experience even better.
Very small place and seating is limited but the food was really good! The fries and fish and chips were not oily at all, light and crisp. Great service as well.
I’ve always been tempted by the delicious smells coming from this place while driving through Crescent City, and on this trip, we finally decided to stop in. As someone who is gluten free, I reached out in advance via Facebook to ask about gluten-free options. I was impressed with how quickly they responded and appreciated that they offered several choices.
We went for dinner and chose to sit outside, which offered a lovely view of the water. I ordered the jambalaya, and my husband had the grilled version of their fish and chips. The kitchen was kind enough to modify the dish, since the original was deep fried.
We also shared a half order of fries as an appetizer, and I have to say—the fries were incredible! Perfectly crispy and well-seasoned. The jambalaya was flavorful and packed with meat, but the portion size was surprisingly small. If I hadn’t filled up a bit on the fries, I would have left pretty hungry—and honestly, I was a little later on.
My husband’s fish was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and he really enjoyed his meal.
A great place to enjoy southern Louisiana food. The views of the beach are a wonderful way to enjoy what is on the menu. We tried jambalaya and a poor boy and both were excellent. Nice choices of drinks to pair with your meal. The service was great and they have a good selection of desserts to end your dinning experience.

The prices felt a bit high for the portion sizes.
