Easy to order and a convenient option for a quick meal. The food was alright overall, but nothing too special.
I got the Bulgogi Bowl and Island Poke Bowl. I personally found the bulgogi a little too salty. The Island Poke Bowl had quite a bit of rice, and the rice was a little mushy for my preference. Overall, it was an okay meal, but there’s definitely some room for improvement.

I finally decided to give Saucey Asian a try, and it definitely lived up to the hype!

The food came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. Every dish we ordered was well-seasoned, the portions were generous, and you can tell they don’t skimp on quality. It’s one of those places where everything on the table makes you want “just one more bite.”

The atmosphere was casual, fun, and perfect for grabbing dinner with friends or family. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

If you’re in the Emeryville area and craving flavorful Asian comfort food, I definitely recommend checking this spot out. Great food, generous portions, and a great overall experience. I’ll definitely be back!

I ordered the Saucy Aisan Poke with a mixed green base, salmon and tuna. It came with spicy marinatade, carrots, slaws, white onions, kimchi gochujang aioli. The fish tasted good, but the overall flavor was a bit too overwhelming. I could mostly taste the sauce in my poke. The portion was also a little for me, so it didn’t feel very filling.

I also tried their sweet and spicy chicken wings, which were really delicious, it was juicy and flavorful. I highly recommended getting their fried chicken!

It was easy to place an order, you can either order in person or use the kiosk machine. The staff were really friendly and attentive.

Located on the Bay Street Plaza in Emeryville, on the second floor next to Barnes and Nobles. Saucy Asian is a Korean fusion restaurant. It’s a trendy place and is pretty busy all the way to closing time. We came in today after shopping at the new Tokyo Central across the street for a late dinner. We ordered at 7:58pm and did not receive our food until 8:26pm which was quite long wait for what we ordered. There is some indoor seating as well as outdoor seating.

    As for food we ordered:
    – Saucy Asian Bowl
    – Saucy Asian Fries
    – Island Style Poke Bowl (combo: half tuna/half Salmon)

All the food were good, have no complaints, but have had better elsewhere. Overall, if we’re in the mood for their food, we would come back.

Even better than I expected. Very saucy yet feels healthy at the same time. Great fusion-style Korean food. I want to come back to dine in and enjoy some soju with the food.
