Tried for the 1st time today because we heard a lot of good things. It was decent I liked the Birria Tacos the beans and rice. The salsa was fresh and the chips were the thick kind which are the best! The fish tacos were not good tho at all. Which was disappointing because that’s my fav. The enchiladas were ok didn’t really like the red sauce tho tasted canned. I will say its worth trying if you have never been but I will probably not go back. Bit pricey…on to the next place ✌️
Had the chili relleno burrito with shredded chicken. It was huge! Definitely one to share or save and eat later! So good! It had peas in it. I never had a burrito with peas before, but I still enjoyed this giant Sunday meal! They packed it full of shredded chicken making it totally worth it. Chips and salsa was complimentary as we dined in. The horchata was refreshing (not too sweet). The tables were clean and the mural on the wall was cool art. They had sports on the big TV (the Eagles were playing in the rain) and videos of their food scrolling on their little TV. Note, a good marketing tactic as we watch we saw all of the other things we want to order next time!
Chili Relleno Burrito with shredded chicken, add sour cream and guac: $17.95.
Our first time here and it was so delicious!! The service was great! Everyone was so helpful and kind. What a great place! The chips were incredibly fresh- from homemade corn tortillas? Definitely tasted that way. We loved the pastor and asada tacos too. The salsa was also great. We are local so we will definitely be back.
I really wanted to love this place, but after three visits, I don’t think we’ll be back.
On our most recent visit, I ordered a side of beans and rice, which came on a medium-sized plate and cost $8 – seemed a bit pricey for what you get. I also tried the bean, rice, and cheese burrito, but unfortunately it was pretty bland and lacking in flavor.
My husband ordered the Colorado burrito, and after waiting 20 minutes, he finally had to ask where his food was. Turns out they had completely forgotten about his order. When his food came out they even gave him the wrong meat. What was most disappointing was that nothing was offered to make up for the mistake – no apology beyond a quick “sorry,” no discount, nothing.
The service issues and inconsistent food quality have been a pattern across our three visits. I wish I could give them a higher rating because I want to support local restaurants, but at this point, we’ve decided this will be our last visit.
