On Saturday, July 25, 2026, I called ahead to place a pickup order.

Cathryn, who took my order, was very friendly and welcoming. In addition to dinner, I asked if they could make breakfast burritos, even though they weren’t on the menu. Their chef kindly accommodated my request, which I really appreciated.

The restaurant offers both indoor seating and an outdoor patio, and both were packed—a great sign of its popularity.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.

    I highly recommend Rosario Restaurant!

Food was decent. Wont say spectacular but definitely edible unlike some Mexican places on the mountain. I understand the economy. Ordered 2 meal plates (one asada; one fajitas) to go. Didnt mind the $48 bill. Left a $20 tip. Got home to discover the meals were appetizer size – a large snack really. And I have to agree with other comments about chips and salsa. Very stingy. Wont say I wont go back but its pretty unlikely……

Visiting Lake Arrowhead for the long three day weekend and given its popularity we plan to try LouEddie’s pizza next-door for dinner. When we arrived, we were told it would be a two hour wait so obviously we decided to head next-door to Rosalva ‘s. It’s important to know that it’s directly off the highway so be wary when pulling in or out of the parking. There are enough spaces for about a dozen cars, but if those spaces are full, you may have to choose another option. Inside is fairly small, but they have a large outdoor patio that is popular during the summer and warmer months.

Service was very fast and the menu itself is very large. For this visit, I decided to try the Steak Wet Burrito and enjoyed it. It was a large sized portion and overall it was pretty good. It’s not quite as great as you get down at sea level, but given the location I would say it’s one of the best options in Lake Arrowhead for Mexican food. I would stop in again next time I am visiting and would recommend to any fan of Mexican cuisine.

I’m surprised to find such a great Mexican restaurant in the mountains! It’s one of the best I’ve ever been to. The fajita trio takes me back to Texas, where I lived for years. And the lobster tacos…what an amazing twist, combining high-end seafood with street food. Every bite is so flavorful and delicious. Plus the restaurant has a warm, homey vibe that’s perfect for gatherings with friends and family.
