This place was super kid friendly the park is near the water and also the Forrest so it’s perfect for those who need a little off trail time. I enjoyed it here the grill is really nice if you want to cool out as well as a nice park and basketball court and baseball field.

What a treasure. The city is so blessed. The grounds are well kept even the public bathrooms are navigateble. There are dawn redwood from China planted around the 60s I’m told by a local with a rich history of the area. Treasure everywhere. There is a hiking trail. But be wared that there are sightings of bears and a current mountain lion sightings. Deer are a fixture in the city. There a good facilities for all kinds of community events and range from the rough and rugged Rodeo to the demure Railroad museum.

This is my absolute favorite park in the Fortuna area. This has such a community feel to it more than the one on Newburgh road. Don’t get me wrong, The Newburgh park is fantastic well kept and looks amazing. But Rhoner Park is the place I go when I want to feel more of a community feel.

What a beautiful park ! I took my grandson hiking there and felt 100% safe . It’s like you are the only person on Earth ! Very peaceful and quiet !

Beautiful park. There were deer grazing right at the foot of the trail. The redwoods are beautiful and all around you. Tons of trails to explore.
