Wow. The food was so good. The Brussel sprouts were the best I’ve ever had. Yeah the steak and shrimp was good but the veggies were so well done. Finally a place that serves really good food in California, i was starting to lose hope. I will drive here again for nothing more than the Brussel sprouts. Thank you for the food
Very cute restaurant, very friendly service, this restaurant was so close to being five out of five. We ordered a beet salad and there were almost no beets at all. They should have used a softer goat cheese, but that was not the real issue. When you order a beet salad there should be a lot of beets and there just weren’t. Our food was very tasty but was barely warm when we got it and we almost sent it back. The grits tasted more like polenta, not a big deal but it was under salted which is also okay, but it didn’t taste like grits. The shrimps were dry and they could have been more sauce on the shrimp and grits. Overall. We’ll try it again if we’re back up this way, but this was so close to being an excellent meal.
This is a serious 5-star restaurant that makes what should be simple dishes into works of art and tastes even better. A lot of the ingredients for the dishes are grown by the chef herself and all of the sauces. DEFINITELY coming back again.
Rock Seas is a hidden gem. The owner doesn’t just run the place—she cooks every dish and even created the stunning art that lines the bar. The steak and lamb were perfectly cooked, the Brussels sprouts addictive. You can feel the passion in every detail. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had.
