While staying at The Little River Inn, we enjoyed an incredible tour of Anderson Valley with Diane. Prior to arrival, we communicated by email in order for her to determine what we were hoping for and her to create a customized itinerary that fit us perfectly. Her knowledge of the area, local personalities and fine wine and food in general made it an incredible day. We enjoyed stops at Witching Stick, where we met the owner Van, Weatherborne, where we tasted with owner Chris and a vineyard tour and tasting at Wentworth led by Moreo All of the stops were dedicated to us individually. There is absolutely no way I could have found or scheduled these experiences on my own. It was an incredible day that was with every penny. Thanks you Diane!

While we were staying at Rendezvous Mendocino this summer, my husband and I took the Wine Connoisseur tour of Anderson Valley with Sommelier Diane Baccaro. As we drove along the coast and through a beautiful redwood forest, Diane gave us a brief history of winemaking from Dom Pérignon to Veuve Clicquot. Our first stop was Roederer Estate where we sat on the terrace overlooking the vineyards and tasted their L’Ermitage flight with a selection of appetizers. Diane prepared a delicious catered lunch for us which we ate outdoors in Gowan’s apple orchard. Our last stop was Husch Vineyards, where we sat among the climbing roses and enjoyed dessert, accompanied by a bottle of 2023 Late Harvest Gewurztraminer. A spectacular day!
