The zoo is okay; actually probably pretty good considering Eka has just 26,000 residents so it’s a small city. Not many small towns have municipal zoos. The skywalk, however, is PHENOMENAL. Well worth the cost of admission just for that. Awesome views of the zoo and the trees from high up, and a neat engineering feat as well. Highly recommended!

Redwood Sky Walk and the zoo were a really cool experience, with beautiful views among the trees and a peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere.
The sky walk felt unique and relaxing, especially being surrounded by the redwoods from above.
The zoo was small but charming, easy to walk through, and well maintained.
Staff were friendly, and the whole place felt organized and welcoming.
Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the Eureka area.

This skywalk is located inside the zoo. Its entry is included in the zoo entrance fee. Parking is on the street, on W street…the skywalk itself was so amazing! You walk thru bridges and get to see the redwoods majestic size and beauty! Just follow the rules and it’s pretty easy to navigate throughout the bridges! Super fun and beautiful views from top to bottom! Love it!!

Very nice place, they have got few trees that made it to Ripley’s believe it or not.
They also have great sculptures, and one of the best attraction was bridges between trees that one can cross.
The Gondola ride was closed when we had gone, little sad about it. But overall it is a good hike and lot of things to see.
Entry ticket is 30$ they charged us 25$ now because some parts are under construction.
