I went on the full day Redwoods by River kayaking trip on Sunday 7/12. It was an unbelievably beautiful and spectacular trip. Co was an amazing guide and she shared all of her knowledge about the river, alongside botany and policies that impact its conservation today. We also had delicious sandwiches for lunch, which we enjoyed by the river, and there was plenty of time for swimming. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves nature and adventure!

Paul was amazing. Very knowledgeable about kayaking and the redwoods. We stopped and went for a small hike. Pointed out about the clover and heart shape plants. That they were safe to eat. Then took us to the tallest recorded redwood. Stopped for lunch. Very yummy. The smith river is beautiful. Paul guided us though the rapids with no issues. Highly recommend wearing the wet suits. I’m so happy we followed their recommendations
Take this all day tour. Well worth the money. Only suggestion to adam is sell sweatshirts with your logo on it. For sure we would have bought them.

I cannot say enough great things about Redwood Rides and our guide Paul. We (a group of 3) did a full day 9:30 – 3:30 of kayaking on the Smith River. Not only was it gorgeous, but our guide was knowledgeable and pointed out wildlife as we went by. 10/10 would recommend!

We booked the easy/beginner half-day raft trip for 9 am early May. We packed light for our vacation so didn’t bring our water shoes specifically, just our spares. That was all we needed. The splash jackets kept us dry from the very little splash we had on this trip. Our guide Miss Annie didn’t talk much but kept an eye on things, and u just know she has some stories to tell. However, her human that manned the boat was amazing to chat with, informative and helped us fill in the rest of our day with adventures. We look forward to working our next adventure here and will be booking a full day, maybe intermediate level. It was the best day (of many great days) on our vacation. Highly recommend!!

We had such an amazing experience with Ryan & Adam! We were able to do a full day of white water rafting and as a complete novice I felt very safe and well advised as to what to expect and what to do. Ryan is such an experienced and knowledgeable guide, we learned so much along the way and he really made the experience special. It was unforgettable day and I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting an adventure in the Redwoods!
