Horrible! Transients, homeless, weeds, no staff for help, knocked over utility boxes and the list goes on!
Had it been a Walmart parking lot we may have stayed. Lost our deposit, which is a small price to pay for your safety.
Just plain nasty!

We booked with arrival time of 20:30 (after a really long drive) got approved, and did not get a notice about the reception being closed.
The toilets were locked, we got no info about our booked parking space number, nor the code to the restrooms. There was no one to talk to, even not in the late morning after. Really unprofessional and not organized. They should have a t least send us the info if they knew the reception team is going to be gone by then (opening times were not written in their site, we checked ahead.)
Not sure what we paid for.

This is a beautiful spot ruined by homeless who use this as a through highway and will literally show up on night one with bolt cutters to remove anything and everything possible. I’ve have cameras and on multiple occasions have been awoken in middle of night and had to personally yell at/chase off homeless who are working on stealing my bikes. Sadly they succeeded yesterday and got one. There is a nice security patrol who comes now and then but this is totally unacceptable and not safe at all. If a large fence and actual onsite security were present this would be a great place due to location

Wonderful park to stay at! Clean! Safe! View right on the ocean by South Beach! The hosts were beyond kind and accommodating! My husband is on crutches and easy for him to get around, use bathrooms and showers which are clean and free showers! (You get the code for bathrooms with your reservation). We will stay again

Redwood Harbor Village is where the former Redwoods RV Resort was located. There is new ownership, no full-timers by the ocean and an on-site manager to take care of business.
I spoke to Gabriel when I called yesterday about the park and Gabriel was so nice and positive that we decided to drive down and take a look. We met Mike, the on-site manager. He really is doing a great job getting the park changed over and cleaning it up.
The park has rest rooms/showers as far as amenities. The reason you go is for the gorgeous beach in walking distance and Redwood National and State Park nearby. The sites are narrow if you have slides but they are more than willing to work with you. All sites have full service and 30 amp electric plus some sites have 50 amp.
I definitely recommend Redwood Harbor Village. It’s great place to stay if you want to enjoy the Northern California coast and beach, as well as, Redwoods National and State Park.
