I love Redwood Family Dermatology! The staff is amazing they make you feel so comfortable and noticed! Heather Silva the dermatologist is the best I have ever had she listens to your cares and concerns and makes you feel so comfortable I love her! If you need a dermatologist this is definitely the place you’re looking for!

I never write reviews but the experience I had here was unfortunate. Scheduling and staff were kind but I went in for a growth assessment of a facial lump next to my eye that came from a face injury. when I communicated my concerns I was pushed to take acutane and offered no coverage from my insurance because redwood deemed it “medically unnecessary” it grew to a size another concerning size after refusing redwoods treatment and I chose to go with a different dermatologist. They ordered scans and I’m now getting it removed covered by my insurance because of concern of rupture. I’m weary of returning to any redwood location because the lack of response and concern my doctor had there. I have no history of cystic acne or major skin issues and I don’t think acutane is the appropriate treatment for every patient. Especially not a treatment for a non- acne related problem. I now will have a larger scar than I would’ve had if I had gotten it removed when I had seen redwood and gotten prompt care.

I just want to give a huge kudos to Jenny (a PA at Redwood Family Derm). I saw her for my annual skin check about a month ago, but was having an unrelated skin flare-up that I’ve had repeatedly for more than half of my life. While it wasn’t on the agenda for her to eval or diagnose this issue, she took one look and gave me her gut instinct thoughts on what might be causing it…and I do believe she was right!! Hugest thanks to her for going above and beyond. Also, the entire staff was friendly and welcoming!

Dr Jenny Bleck has the most wonderful bedside manner. She made me feel at ease and comfortable while undergoing surgery on my back for skin cancer. I appreciate all of her team, everyone was helpful and professional. I feel so lucky that Redwood Family Dermatology is my local dermatology office.

I had some questions regarding insurance correspondence which were answered and understood. I had a procedure done and appreciated being told what to expect at each step. In addition, follow up instructions were repeated a couple of times to ensure my understanding which again was appreciated. Staff is very professional and considerate.
