Ive seen this little shop for a while always thinking i’ll pop in for a bit. Well today i did! It is absolutely delicious with no skimping on the flavor or portion. The carne asada was tender and delicious the beans creamy. All the lettuce and cheese were fresh. Even their salsa was pefection! Im happy i stopped and and happy to continue eating here. The staff were exceptionally pleasant. Patient and courteous. This is an added bonus to the Redding area.

The food is always cooked to perfection and never dry. The cowboy fries are always plentiful and delicious. The conga burrito is a family favorite, comes with beans, rice, cheese & your choice of meat.

Look what we have here. I love tacos. Let me say again I love tacos. These are some of the best I’ve had. Can you say season. They can. Everything was seasoned to perfection. From the taco to the guacamole to the rice. Even the pico. Oh and insider tip try the Habanero sauce. Not to spicy sweat with a KICK

I came late, yet checked the hours to find that the restaurant was still open! Asking what I could get for $5, I was recommended a crispy taco and I was not excited. I accepted the suggestion, however, and I wasn’t only pleasantly surprised, I was completely overcome with ecstasy! The man at the counter was pleasant and patiently took my order. He offered some sauce, which turned out to be supremely delicious! After fixing me a cup of water, he left me alone to eat.
I’d say it was the epitome of customer service, because it was genuine. The food was so good, my one taco was excellent. I won’t tell you what was on it because you’ll have to discover your own treat! And it is, a treat! A real treat to eat.
Some of the homeless have made a mess of the local area, includes this location but it seems Taco Shop is making the best of it! Glad I found this place.

I ordered 3 carnitas tacos without onions and I basically got raw tortillas with overcooked steak meat and green salsa. All of which had barely any flavor at all. I’m pretty sure that you have to specifically ask for any other toppings besides salsa which I was unaware of when I ordered which may be why that was all I got so make sure you do if you go. I went with my friends during a road trip and I will say the atmosphere was nice to talk and hang out in and the employees were pretty nice it seemed. Over all the food wasn’t great but it was an okay place to be in if you don’t mind it.
