Food was okay, I ordered the Pupusas Revueltas. They barely had any meat and is mostly filled with either cheese or beans. $5.50 for one pupusa seems intense considering they’re mostly filling. Besides that there’s one guy that just has a weird attitude like he doesn’t want to be there and went back and forth with the lady cooking. I waited about 15-20mins for 3 Pupusas and it wasn’t even lunch hour. Hope they can do better in the future, would love to come back someday.

The staff very kind and attentive. Restaurant was clean. The platanos empenadas were a delicious treat and it was my first time having them. The pupusas however were a bit disappointing. They were very dry, the revueltas had more beans than anything. The pupusas were thin and not as filling as i am accustomed to. I found the laroco pupusas to be tastey. The bistek meat was very small and had more tomato and green peppers than anything and lacked onion. The cortido and sauce they served us was in my opinión enough for 1 person ( there were 2 of us) i mention it because their sign says there will be a charge for extra cortido and sauce. If you go maybe skip the bistek, skip the pupusas de revueltas, but definitely get the platanos empenadas! Ps the staff did ask us how the food was, my husband being Salvadorean, shared our thoughts with them. They were very gracious when he shared his feedback with them.

Let me start by saying that I’m not an expert on pupusas—this was only the second time I’ve ever tried them. I found Pupuseria Blankita online while searching for Salvadoran food in the area, and we decided to give it a try.
The restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside, but there’s plenty of parking in the small shopping center. Once inside, you’ll find a clean, simple, and well-maintained dining area with about a dozen tables. The setup is straightforward: you order at the counter, take a seat, and the staff brings the food to your table when it’s ready. The place appears to be family-run, and the owners were extremely warm, welcoming, and friendly throughout our visit.
We ordered a few pupusas to sample. I had two: one with spinach and cheese and another with carrot, zucchini, and cheese. They were served with curtido (a lightly fermented cabbage slaw) and salsa, which complemented the pupusas nicely. We also shared an order of sweet plantains, and I had a refreshing glass of Jamaica (hibiscus tea) to go with the meal. The pupusas were clearly made fresh to order, and everything tasted freshly prepared. While I enjoyed the vegetable-and-cheese combinations, I have to admit that I’m still not fully converted into a pupusa enthusiast! Still, Pupuseria Blankita earns four stars from me for its friendly service, fresh food, and clean, welcoming space. And if any pupusa experts are reading this, I’d genuinely love to hear what makes a truly perfect pupusa!

The chronicle noted this as one of the bay areas top pupuserias and I definitely agree. I wanted the carrot-zucchini-cheese pupusa to go on forever. I also liked the horchata. It tasted a bit like peanut butter for some reason.

I went here for a Yelp Elite event, and I am so glad I took the drive out there.
The pupusas are delicious. They are made to order and arrive piping hot, along with all the sides.
The service is warm and inviting as the owner comes out to greet you and check in on how your food is.
Her husband mans the front cashier, and he is a really nice person as well. I enjoyed watching how they both interacted with all the people who came in.
It got busy. It got really busy, so I was glad I got there not too long after they opened.
