This place is the gold standard in Redding. The staff is always super nice and FAST! The food is always delicious. The place is clean and the atmosphere is light hearted and fun. I 100% recommend this place. We eat here once a month or so and it is always a great experience. It is a value also.

We are a fan of the Yreka location and decided to try this Redding one. We made a great choice. Food is great. Service wonderful. The hostess was joyful. We have loved every meal, dish and drink at Puerto Vallarta. We look forward to family restaurants on our trips and this is one to put on your list. I had the Shrimp de Ajo. The shrimp was perfectly cooked-done, moist and tender. The sauce was flavorful. The tortillas were very hot – I like that. And their table salsa was a nice addition. We enjoyed the ultimate margarita on the rocks. The decor is fun Mexican, bright and cheery. Eat here, you will love it.

I can’t describe the love that we have for this place. We celebrate ALL of our birthday dinners here. They accommodated a party of nearly 25 people and handled it flawlessly. I highly recommend this specific Puerto Vallarta on Hartnell Ave. This is our go to for every night out when we want a comfortable laid back atmosphere with guaranteed excellent food!

Great restaurant, especially considering value for money. The food we had tasted very fresh, with salad and herbs outside and inside and no over-spicing. Tortilla soup was delicious. The sizes were such that we had to take half the food home in boxes. Staff very friendly and quick. Highly recommend!

Great restaurant if your craving tasty Mexican food. Friendly staff, cute decor and very good food. Fajitas are grilled and flavorful. The chips and salsa and bean dip were awesome starters. Chicken Caesar was ok. They even gave us a complimentary dessert which was really good. Recommend to stop by if you’re in the area.
