This was our first time in CC and our hotel had a list of places to eat so we decided to try Port O’Pints. When we pulled up it was not too busy and our first thoughts were along the lines of “should we go somewhere else?”. The little building is non-descript and at first glance seems like you should just keep going. However, I am so glad we decided to go in!! (And while inside was “not too busy” the take out clientele was steady. We now know why!)
The woman behind the bar was so friendly. She recommended a few beers to try. We settled on a couple and ordered a calzone to share. Our socks were knocked off!! The cook came out as he knew we were sharing and told us he was going to split it and put it in 2 separate baskets, adding in the sauce of choice. The calzone was honestly the best we have ever had and so big and stuffed full of goodness we could not finish it. The beer was amazing as well!!
It’s been a week since being in CC and we still talk about the food here! And the service wall is such a nice touch to the establishment. We are both veterans and loved looking at all the patches while we drank, ate and talked.
The meatball sandwich is amazing! It was enjoyable experience. The locals are friendly and informative. The cider is good but not the best I have had. I recommend a visit.
Russell, the bartender here, was very kind and passionate about their products and brand! The food was delicious and quick (try the spicy pickled eggs!). The beer (4 that I tried) were all fantastic too! Thank you for the great lunch experience!
Brilliant Pub and brewery! Loads of atmosphere, exceptionally friendly service and great advice on beer and all things Californinan.. Sean is really well informed and friendly.. their beers deserve the awards they have won.. best brewery on town. Food was fun and Irish Nachos were really good. The establishment is well frequented by locals. Go there already!

Please don’t change! We will be back!
