My missus and I had a meatball sandwich and a burger. Both were excellent. Lana made it wonderful. She came over checked in on us and talked to us. Made us feel right at home. We shared restaurant industry stories. The beer garden was beautiful too. Such a good vibe. Y’all are crushing it. Thanks for making us Houstonians feel welcome in your beautiful town!
This places uses the absolute cheapest low quality ingredients available. 25 for a 14” pizza that ranks below frozen pizzas at dollar general.
Pre made pizza crust sent through a conveyor belt oven… There’s no difference in this piece in the crap you get from a Convenience store Except this pizza 3 times as much.. when they fail… it will because they offered an $8 pizza for $25
Disgusting
I’ve been here for the Saturday concerts, great venue! I’ve heard so many great comments on their pizza, I asked my friends to bring me one today as she passed by on the way back from Reno.
Unfortunately, it was not great… at all. A large pepperoni for $30.. not worth it to me. Besides having very little pepperoni, the crust and sauce was poor.
I’ll say that they had a bad day, and may try another sometime.. but this was a huge disappointment.
This is one of the few food options close to Lassen Volcanic National Park. We got there a bit before 6pm the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, and had to spend a couple of minutes even looking for a parking spot – ultimately had to park on a dirt patch along the 44 freeway with a dozen cars having already done so before us. My friend had a salad, and we shared a large sized combo pizza. Asked them to replace salami with broccoli, which they were happy to comply with. The pizza was good but definitely very greasy. There were enough leftovers to make breakfast the next morning before another long day of hiking. Service was understandably slow, but the waiter also seemed overwhelmed and confused. Total including tips and taxes came to around 55 bucks, which is pretty decent considering that it made 2 meals for 2 people.
After hiking I stopped at Pioneer Hillside Pizza and am glad I did. I was craving some jalapeño poppers and pizza and they had both. So good! Then got a beer and listened to live music on the porch. Great evening.
