Good thrift shop that proceeds benefit a local non profit. They have recently rearranged and the new lay out works better. Usually some type of sale happening that makes the prices really reasonable
Second edit. Tried this place again. They’re never open for donating. They used to put online if they couldn’t take stuff now they dont do that. Clothes are not the quality as before. A lot of stinky dirty things being put out. Like the don’t care anymore…..new owners? new management? review went from 5 stars to 2 stars to 1 star we won’t go back.
Thrift shopping for clothes and Halloween decorations and this store was a 180 from last year. I had to check that it was the same place! Last year workers looked happy painting the windows plus had lots of costumes and decorations. This time it feels drab. “Funky Town” is gone and the prices on clothes don’t make sense, theres stained clothes, not much to choose from and the whole place feels dingy. Not sure if it’s new owners now or what but the energy and charm is gone. Hope it can bounce back someday.
WOW sexist store alert….
is all I have to say. Was going to buy a piece of furniture then women came in and grabbed it from my checkout pile saying she was ‘coming back for it’. No sold sticker, name, and no worker can verify her story. In the end, the older lead gave her the item because “I am gentlemen, and I will be less of a pain to deal with then her” discriminatingagainst me for my gender. In neither physical or online retail have I been sexually discriminated against like that.
Worst of all the women kept saying she was “getting lunch” several hours ago, she could have paid for it then but didn’t. Definitely avoiding this exist store from now on…
I enjoy stopping here and take every opportunity to stop, each time I drive by. Always a sale going on. Usually Pink tag, Yellow Tag, whatever color tag is 50% off. Their sales are written on the whiteboard in front. So check that first. They have decent clothes, good jeans, big selection of housewares, records, some vintage items. Cool stuff.
I’ve been visiting Fort Bragg for years, and this thrift store has really stepped up in the last few. It’s cleaner, better organized, and has a fun vibe. A good selection of vintage kitchen stuff and clothes. The people working are friendly, and the manager was genuinely thankful when I complimented the store. Definitely worth a stop if you’re nearby
