If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this probably isn’t the place. Most people may already expect that in Lake Arrowhead, but the food was still disappointing. It’ll get you through lunch, and the portions are big, but it was basically a large plate of “meh.”
The lakeside view is great, and the service was friendly. It was a little slow even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy, but it wasn’t terrible. Overall, come for the view—not the Mexican food. I’d recommend eating somewhere else.

Didn’t eat a full meal, just chips and salsa, but the food looked great! Enjoyed the friendly staff and a cold beverage. Fun atmosphere.

Was up in Arrowhead Lake and this place is delicious the food had taste to it, they even has the original Mexican Coke. Thier cocktails pretty good as well. If your in Arrowhead recommend getting a bite to eat here. Wonderful and delicious

Good view to the lake while dining. We ordered the albondiga soup was perfect . We also ordered had the (4) taquitos and that was filling, they were nicely crunchy and so delicious.
I also ordered the refried beans, but I should’ve asked for half an order.
This place had a nice atmosphere, good lighting and great service.
Plenty of parking.

The host that greeted us was amazing. She was so friendly and good spirits. We came in Tuesday around 6pm and there was no wait. We ordered the carne asada plate and 2 carnitas tacos a la carte. Everything was yummy. I’ve been coming to the village for over a decade and never tried Papagayos. It was better than I thought it would be. Cleanliness and service can use a little work, otherwise it was pretty good. There was someone cleaning the floors while we were eating (almost right in front of us)… I think that maybe could have waited. Our waiter was nice, but not very attentive
