The hotel is big! Lots of rooms. We were on the third floor for two nights; Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday night was pretty noisy. Kids playing in the hallway and folks on the fourth floor must have been practicing clog dancing! Things quieted after 12, though.
Room was nice. Big with two queens. Clean and well appointed.
Breakfast was provided: buffet with eggs and…. Something for everyone. The breakfast staff is really good. Very pleasant.
My main complaint is in-room coffee. There’s an electric pot to heat water but there’s only instant coffee!!!! Who does that? Trying to save money I suppose. But very unsatisfactory for the client.

Following our great experience at Oxford Suites Redding, we decided to stay at Oxford Suites Chico, and it certainly did not disappoint! There were so many highlights during our family trip:
Warm Late Check-in: We checked in well past midnight, but the front desk staff welcomed our family with genuine warmth and friendliness without showing the slightest sign of fatigue.
Attentive Towel Service: Our family goes through quite a few towels, and the team made sure we always had plenty without any hassle.
Pool & Hot Tub: Both the swimming pool and hot tub were well-maintained and wonderful for unwinding.
Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious every morning.
Evening Reception: Even though the drinks at the evening reception are complimentary, the cocktails were exceptionally tasty and made for a fun, charming touch to our evenings.
The hotel’s location made it very convenient to explore Chico and the surrounding areas, with plenty of nearby restaurants and grocery markets to easily pick up anything we needed.

Beds soft, which I like. AC seemed a little older kinda loud if light sleeper. Pet friendly with outside smoking areas. Pool seemed popular tho I didn’t use it. I think omlet bar not on weekend FYI. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Right next to mall and most convenient stores. A short walk across a pretty quiet street and there is in-n-out, Applebees and sushi. Security guard visible in parking lot at night each night I was there. Easy parking for big truck.

I am so glad we stayed here when we came to Chico for a wedding. The room was well priced. Enjoyed the free drink in the evening and the yummy breakfast buffet in the morning. All the staff we dealt with were VERY friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the pool actually being warm, so often places say their pool is heated when it’s really not. Thank you!

Everyone was so kind. The rooms were so clean – best hotel I’ve stayed in! They are well decorated, snack area looked good but we didn’t grab anything. The breakfast was also great! Both of us really enjoyed all the options. We’ve decided this will always be our halfway stop for us on our way down i5 and worth the detour.
