Our first Napa Valley winery experience at Opus One was exceptional.

The wonderful gentleman, Guillaume, gave us a private tour and provided incredibly kind and knowledgeable explanations of the winemaking process and each wine we tasted. He also took photos for us and shared many lovely conversations throughout the experience.

I initially thought it would be a group tour, but it turned out to be a private tour for just the two of us, which made it even more special.

Everyone we encountered was welcoming and gracious. The receptionist was lovely, and another staff member in the hallway kindly offered us water. The hospitality was outstanding.

The winery itself was immaculate, and the oak barrel cellar was especially impressive.

We tasted the 2022, 2019, and 2012 Opus One vintages, and each wine was elegant, complex, and full of beautiful aromas. I wish I could enjoy them every day. The three small bites paired with the wines were outstanding—truly Michelin-star quality.

The tasting room on the second floor was elegant and beautiful. Our outdoor table offered spectacular vineyard views and provided the perfect setting to enjoy the wines.

Considering the level of service, exclusivity, and quality we received, the tour was an incredible value. The entire experience felt worthy of a three-Michelin-star standard of hospitality.

I highly recommend experiencing Opus One for anyone visiting Napa Valley. We would absolutely love to return.
