I’ve been taking glasses from Joe to learn how to oil paint for about a year and a half. When I started, I had never touched oil paint before, and the last time I did any kind of painting (watercolor) was about 30 years previous. I was a total beginner!
The first few weeks, I thought maybe it wasn’t for me – I hadn’t learned anything brand new in a long, long time – but with Joe’s gentle and skilled teaching style, as the months went by I started to get the hang of it.
I absolutely love taking these classes. Joe is a very talented artist and I feel very lucky to be one of the beneficiaries of him passing down his skills.
Oh, and his wife Aina is also a truly amazing artist – she painted lovely, beautiful, portraits of each of my daughters, and I couldn’t be happier with them.
I highly recommend any and all classes at Nuance studio, or if you don’t want to take classes, go in and purchase one of your very own works of art!
