Been here a couple times and each time was a lovely time. My friend invites us here and he puts together a brunch in the picnic area which is a pretty cool setup. And the Nicholson Ranch is such a beautiful property. And has great views.

I couldn’t tell you about if they served food or anything because each time we visited we would first do picnic brunch then wine taste. The wine is also lovely. They have great selection of wine but I loved the Pinot Noirs.

The service is awesome. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. I don’t know if our wine pourer was a sommelier but she had lots of stories about wine and the Ranch. Forgive me I didn’t write her name down but she was very nice and can keep great conversation.

My wife and I did an early cave tour and happen to be the only two on it. Jessica gave us our tour and it truly felt like we were just hanging with an old friend and enjoying wine. The grounds and history are amazing, and this truly is a family working ranch. My wife and I fit right in and we’ll be coming back as well as spreading the word!

We saw this winery on our way to Napa from Petaluma, read all the great reviews and decided to stop on our way back.
Glad we did! Now my favorite wineries in Sonoma County. If you like Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, look no further they are the BEST. Prices are right too with costing betqeen $50-$105 definitely worth joining their wine club.

Friendly staff, and nice convenient location. Don’t drive by this place. Most stop.

I visited this winery about a month ago on the fly with my partner while on vacation, and I left feeling so happy that we decided to stop in here. For starters, the building and landscape itself are gorgeous. The chapel on the hill in the back makes you feel like you’re in Europe. We tried several wines, all of which were unique and delicious. The best part about this place, however, was not the grounds or the wine. It was the staff. In particular, Debbie made our day, and our time with her was one of our favorite parts of the trip. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about her job, the ranch, and the wines; but also was just genuinely a hilarious and pleasant person to be around. She is truly an asset to this winery. It has been nearly a month since our visit, but we still talk about our time here several times a week.

The estate is stunning and captures the quintessential landscaping and architecture of a premier Northern California winery.
The selection is extensive, though pricing runs high—a single glass costs approximately what three bottles would at a discount retailer. They have great wines as well! While the winery’s reputation suggests exceptional quality, the flavor profiles were unexpectedly muted and lacked the complexity one might anticipate from their level of experience.
The experience reflected a common Napa Valley tendency where attention seems calibrated to the guest’s perceived sophistication or spending potential, which detracted from an otherwise promising visit.
