Great visit yesterday! This was one of our stops with Platypus Wine Tours. Our host, Christian, was great. As a local, born and raised, he was able to share history and knowledge that made the experience better. Learning about the company through the years and the family philosophy made the experience more meaningful. And, tasting from a barrel makes for an even better experience.

Went to this winery a few years ago and was served by Brett. We made a mental note to leave him a review because he was so great and we just never got around to it.. we had such a good tasting, he had plenty of recommendations, and was easy to make conversation with. This is the valley’s best kept secret!! Lots of famous wineries on Oakville cross road, but this one is unique because of the selection of independant wine companies made on- site that get their start in the tasting room at the napa wine company. For years, I have ordered lots of high end wines at nice restaurants when I have business meetings and family outings, and most of the time they’re wines that were born here. I like coming here every time I visit napa valley to see what’s new.
