During a trip to Humboldt county this spring, my husband and I happened to catch a glimpse of this winery while we were dining across the street. It’s small and tucked away but I’m really glad we decided to check it out! Hayley was so welcoming and guided us through a tasting expertly. Every wine we tried was unique and delicious, especially the blends (Temptation of Angels and Hayley’s Comet were standouts.) Not only was the wine great, but the service was exceptional and it seems like this spot is a favorite for locals. The regular patrons here were all so friendly, they made us feel welcome and gave us travel tips for Trinidad, Eureka and the surrounding area. The interior is small but cozy with a little lounge-type area and a few smaller tables and stools around the perimeter. There are also several tables outside and there’s a beautiful ocean overlook about half a block away. We bought a bottle after our tasting and the prices vary but most wines are very affordable. Don’t let its size fool you, if you’re in the area and enjoy good wine this is a must stop!
Hailey was super sweet lady explained us well about all the wines and we had a great time sipping and tasting their wines. Its a small place with a lot of interesting choice. Definitely recommend if you are around this area. My favorite was red bubbly wine, it was very unique, never had anything like that.
What a quaint little winery. The person pouring was knowledgeable about the wine and the area. She gave me some great tips for local beaches and wineries. I don’t normally go for ports, but wow, quiet yummy!
Delicious wine paired with a cozy setting is what I’m all about. I will be back to enjoy more and highly recommend adding this as a pit stop for people out and about.
