Mima’s Taquería was an absolute letdown. I ordered tacos and a torta, and somehow both managed to be aggressively mediocre. The chicken had zero flavor—not “could use a little more seasoning,” but genuinely tasted like nobody even introduced it to a spice rack.
The tacos were bland, the torta was forgettable, and the entire meal had the personality of cardboard. I kept eating hoping it would get better. It didn’t.
For a taquería, flavor should be the bare minimum, and this place somehow missed that completely. I’ve had more satisfying food from a gas station. There are plenty of taquerías that actually know how to season meat and make food worth paying for, so there’s really no reason to settle for this.
Would not recommend. Would not return. One of those meals you finish and immediately regret spending money on.
Wow…what a nice surprise! This Mexican restaurant is located in Colusa with plenty of inside dining .
NANCY waited on me and she was so kind and helpful with menu choices. I had the carne asada burrito which was overflowing with meat! Love the taste with their beans ( not canned) and cilantro. SO fresh! Their salsas and even their chips were delicious! Meat was seasoned with love! I could only eat alittle bit and the rest was to go.
It was nice and cool inside and very relaxing. I was blown away by all the items made by scratch. AUTHENTIC!
I honestly can’t wait to come back and try more items! DON’T pass this place up! Plenty of parking.
Thank you Nancy for a delicious meal! I will be back!
Great service, friendly staff and the restaurant was clean and spacious. I got the chicken super burrito, it was flavorful and massive. If you dine in, you get chips and salsa while you wait for your food. Plenty of parking outside.
$12.30 breakfast burrito 3.75/5 Overall a Good value, but not a ln impressive breakfast burrito.
Pros:
Huge Portion, Quality Salsa, Appropriate price/value, friendly service
Cons: 90% potatoes that are chunky and could be cooked more, they would be better crispy and smaller. Not too much meat/ flavour on meat could be better
Great Friendly Staff and Service! The food here is delicious and very flavor full! The Quesabirrias are made to perfection Crunchy and Packed with Every bite. The consume is the perfect addition to the Quesabirrias. They also have a really good Super Quesadilla which I like to get.
