Bought the pollo meal. Signs said 29.99. I ended up paying 41.00. Ask the guy why was it that much he said “taxes”. Chicken was dry and salty. Sauce had no spice to it. Only thing good was rice and beans. Wouldn’t recommend this place.
I was there yesterday to get my dinner . Usually I don’t but much there but I love the chicken . I order two pollos when I was about to pay I saw two big rats on the ceiling. To my surprised I stood quietly pay and walked away thinking what should I do. Drove straight to Costco and dumped the pollos in the trash cans I got some steaks. I spent $43.00 on the pollos . Not sure if I should call them or call. Health dept . Hopefully they will read it and do some thing about . So disgusting. I lost $43.00 I didn’t want my family or me to get sick . Will never go back .
I love their barbeque chicken but lately it has been so salty to the point my kids can’t eat it. Not once but two three times, I told the cook while picking it up but he kinda shrugged it off. I come all the way from San Jose to get your grilled chicken please make it like the way you used too
Love this place. Great BBQ chicken, with rice, beans, salsa, and tortillas. It’s inside the Michoacan Produce Market… not the little tacqueria next door, and not the Chavez’s Market. All chicken orders are “to go” only, there is no seating. The market also has a lot of other interesting foods and beverages. A great place, once you find it and know where it is!
This place has the best grilled chicken in the entire bay area! You would never guess by the looks of it. It is located at the end of Middlefield Rd. right before Atherton. It is a hole in the wall grocery store. You have to go to the back counter and ask for a chicken. It comes chopped with tortillas and salsa and the also offer beans and rice if you desire. The combination of the delicious marinade and the mesquite grill really makes the chicken so special. Warning: you might want to get a second chicken, because you may not make it home without getting into the first one!
