This is my favorite Mexican restaurant, so whenever I travel to the Bay Area California I have to stop here. Seriously. My favorite. I wish they had one this good in Idaho, but I haven’t found one yet. Some come close, but just short of the mark.

We had the best birthday dinner here for my son’s birthday. The food was so good I am still thinking about it and the service was excellent.

We were a party of four adults . We sat down and they brought us chips and salsa and we ran out of salsa in about 4 minutes. When our food came we asked for another cup of salsa as we all poor some In our tacos and on our beans and rice. The server brought us a half full cup which my wife used on her food. When our bushy haired male server came back I asked if we could get one more
Little Cup of salsa and he snapped at me saying,
I’LL BRING IT BUT THIS TIME IM CHARGING YOU FOR IT! “ and he stomped away with an attitude. We were spending over $110 on food plus cocktails and didn’t think 2 1/2 measley cups of salsa was that big of a big deal. When our check came , sure enough he had charged us a few dollars for The cup of salsa. His poor attitude and lack of people skills was enough to soil the place for us permanently and we won’t be going back. I hope he enjoyed the 13 cent tip .

Mexican Lido’s (Pleasanton)beef and shrimp fajitas offer a tasty and satisfying dining experience. The beef fajitas are well-prepared with tender, juicy meat cooked fajita-style over grilled bell peppers and onions, complemented by Mexican rice, beans, and fresh tortillas. The shrimp fajitas stand out with fresh, flavorful shrimp also served with the classic sides and a fajita salad that enhances the meal. Customers appreciate the generous portion sizes and the vibrant presentation of these dishes.
The flavors are generally well-received, with the beef being juicy and not dry, though some reviewers noted the potential for a bit more seasoning to suit personal tastes. The shrimp fajitas are praised for their freshness and complementary seasoning. Overall, these fajitas reflect authentic Mexican flavors paired with good service and a pleasant dining atmosphere, making them a strong recommendation for those wanting classic Mexican fajitas in a well-put-together setting.

LOVE this place! Not only close to home, but the Pollo Barracho (drunken chicken) dinner has been a favorite of mine for over 20 years. (Tasty, marinated chicken breast, served with rice, beans, salsa and tortillas). And, of course, all the Mexican beers you can think of!
