What a wonderful Beautiful place to spend oart of the day with your beasties! There are plenty of trails and things to see. They have dirt trail that might be ok for some motorized wheel chairs. But there is a paved trail that definitely is suitable for all types of handicap devices. There are lots benchs in varies places. There was alot more I could’ve took pictures of!.

From the front parking lot it looks small but it is 4 acres of beautiful grounds. Flowers, trees, wildlife, water, coast, whales and more. These gardens have it all. Very pretty and not crowded on a weekday in June. It was a very nice time!

I was not expecting this to be the highlight of my trip, as I’ve visited tons of botanical gardens around the world. But this one really captured my heart. It felt like I was walking through a magical tropical forest (not just a garden) that led me to a stunning coastal view. I was not expecting it to be as big as it was. I planned to spend 30 mins but stayed for 1.5 hours. This was a gem of my trip and worth paying for.

We happened to see the botanical garden when driving on Hwy 1. We had no idea it was 47 acres!! The shorter trail will take about 45 minutes, but you can walk a loop around the entire thing.
Admission was $123.30 for 5 adults. There was a cafe that closed an hour earlier than the garden. They also have membership, which gets you discounted visits.
The rose garden smelled so good. I wish each bush was identified/labeled.
I spent about 2 hours here, and some of it was spent walking in circles because lack of directions and signage. The dahlia garden is nice – need to come during season to see them all bloomed.
WiFi didn’t work for me even though they had signs at the store. Parking was easy in their parking lot.

I was thinking the price was steep before we went but I’d honestly pay double the ticket price once you see how beautifully curated the gardens are. The signage is great and easy to read. They give you a map in the beginning. You can literally spend a whole day here if you love nature and looking at each plant.
We got there a little late so we only had about 2 hrs to go around the main trail and detoured thru the vegetables.
Allow for some extra time to go to the cafe there as well. I had a chicken panini and it was good!
Will be back on our next vacation to the area for sure.
