Phenomenal views all around – Clear Lake and Mount Konocti to the east, Ukiah to the west. It pays to go on a clear day. You’re really gonna want a high clearance & 4WD vehicle, and parts of the road are single lane so be aware of where the turnouts are.

I went on a Saturday afternoon, there were 3 or 4 other cars on the road.
