It’s a scam. They posted photos of a galvanized pipe threading machine, listing the machine and the parts for $80 plus tax. When I arrived, only the machine was there; the parts were kept elsewhere. I told her I needed the parts—the ones that actually cut the threads in different sizes—and she said she’d have to look for them and sell them separately, wanting $130 for them. Since I only had enough money for the original price, I ended up buying just one of the five threading dies. Later, when I checked online, I explained the situation to the woman—pointing out that the machine is useless without the parts and asking how I was supposed to use it otherwise—and told her she should stick to what she advertises. She blocked me.
It’s a scam. They posted a three-photo ad of a machine for threading galvanized pipes. They listed the machine and parts for $80 plus tax, but when I arrived, only the machine was there. The parts were somewhere else. I told her I needed the parts that create the threads in different sizes, and she said she’d look for them and sell them to me separately. She wanted $130, and since I only had enough money, I had to buy one of the five threads. When I was finally able to check online, I explained to the girl that the machine was sold separately. I showed her photos and explained how I was supposed to use it if I didn’t have the parts. I told her that next time she should respect what she advertises, and she blocked me.

This is a great new thrift store in Willits! Pretty amazing variety of items. And the owner was great to work with. Highly recommend!
