I was in a crunch to have a dress altered for my father’s memorial, and I reached out to May’s Alterations. Sue, the owner, did not disappoint, but delivered three altered dresses I requested, (couldn’t make up my mind which I wanted), in very short time She is a talented and professional seamstress, and I am definitely going to be a return customer. I highly recommend Sue!

I took a short bridal style dress to May’s to be taken in a bit and they did an amazing job. I brought it in and there was only a two week turn around, quick service and good price! The shop is also very clean and organized which made me feel comfortable leaving a bridal dress in their hands. Highly recommend!

My son has sensory needs, and he has a favorite blanket. It’s a quilt my mom made. He wraps himself in it when he’s relaxing and when he sleeps. It’s been washed a million times and it was full of holes with the batting falling out. I know of no quilt repair shops so I took it to Sue at May’s Alterations and asked her what she could do. She took the quilt apart, put in new batting, put a solid new panel on top and sewed a combination of pieces from the old quilt and some new fabrics on top so beautifully! It was a custom job and she did amazing, for a fair price, and my son loves it! Thank you Sue!
