Had a fabulous time watching the world cup. The food was fabulous service and Atmosphere was fantastic I can’t wait to go back and explore the menu more, I absolutely loved the Mayan touches as I miss this culture and more people should experience it. Thank you for being so spectacular

It’s a cool restaurant in a cool little town north of Mendocino. It’s in a central location of the small downtown area. Fairly convenient since we were about 4 minutes drive away.

The inside of the restaurant is pretty cool because it feels like you’re about to enter a Mayan city. The front area is fairly small, but inside it’s pretty spacious. Not too many tables but enough for a good crowd. The inside is thoroughly decorated with pictures and local arts. The environment is nice and cozy.

The food was fusion for sure and we felt that they did a great job prepping the food. It was a little slow to come out but not too long. The food tasted complex and delicious with hints of Spanish flavor. The presentation of the food was simple but elegant.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food and finished everything. We didn’t order too much, but just enough for the family of 5. The bill came out about $140. A great experience and a good time at this place.

Food: tasty and flavorful. Quantity not to price.
Service: no one bothered to check on us after dropping the food & we have to wave hands to get hot sauce
Atmosphere: Dark and gloomy with white aprons

I recently visited Mayan Fusion during the Whale Festival and decided to try their patio seating, which was absolutely beautiful. The space is thoughtfully decorated with Mayan-inspired paintings and artwork, a charming small fountain, vibrant planters filled with flowers, and colorful vases that really bring the whole setting to life. The ambiance is warm, artistic, and perfect for a relaxed dining experience.

However, the service at the beginning was a bit disappointing. Upon entering the patio, there was no host or greeter present, and guests are required to ring a bell for service. I was seated but waited about 15 minutes without any acknowledgment. I noticed a server nearby, but he was attending to a larger group. After waiting, I ended up calling the restaurant to let them know I had been seated without assistance. About five minutes later, a staff member came out, apologized, and let me know a server would be with me shortly.

Once service began, the experience improved. I ordered the octopus ceviche, which was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced with a great combination of vegetables. I would highly recommend this dish. I also tried the cochinita pibil tacos. While they were decent, they didn’t quite stand out in flavor; however, I did appreciate that the tortillas were handmade, which added a nice authentic touch.

To accompany the meal, I had a margarita on the rocks, which was well-made and enjoyable.

Overall, the setting and food quality—especially the ceviche—were highlights of the visit. With a more attentive and welcoming service experience from the start, this place has the potential to be outstanding. I would consider returning, especially for the patio ambiance and select menu items.

Amazing 5 star meal! My wife had the panko petrol sole and I had the panko kinh salmon. Both came served on a bed of corn with with a champagne cream sauce over the asparagus. The flavors were balanced, both fish were light and flavorfull, with perfect seasoning and equally perfectly cooked. The presentatiob was amazingal! The only word that comes to mind is just WOW!
As excellent as the meal was, the service was equally exceptional, seating was easy at 5pm. The pre dinner drinks were very good and my wife loved the tito margaritas. My bloody Mary made with Titos vodka was well balanced and absolutely delicious.
Silvers Maya Fusion is always on our list to dine when we travel to Fort Bragg and Mendocino.
10/10, *****, always a return experiance! Thank you as always!
