Do not come here for a deep tissue massage.
I recently visited Max Well Massage in Ukiah and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I specifically requested a deep tissue massage due to muscle pain and tension, but the pressure applied by the therapist, Angel, was extremely light—nowhere near what I would consider deep tissue. I even mentioned this during the session, but the intensity never improved. Rather than relieving my pain, the massage seemed to aggravate it, and I actually left feeling worse than when I arrived.
On a positive note, the facility itself is clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. However, the lack of therapeutic benefit and responsiveness to my needs made this visit unsatisfactory. I won’t be returning.

After a recent mishap where I slipped and injured my leg and hip, I found myself in quite a bit of discomfort. The next morning, I woke up to intense pain that radiated to my back, making it difficult to move around. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get an appointment with a doctor for a month, so I decided to explore alternative options for relief.
That’s when I discovered Max Well Massage. I was hopeful that a massage might alleviate some of the pain, and I’m so glad I made the decision to go. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with exceptional customer service that set the tone for a relaxing experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it easy to forget about my discomfort for a while.
The massage itself was nothing short of amazing. The skilled therapist worked on my sore spots, and I could feel the tension melting away. By the end of the session, I felt significantly better—both physically and mentally.
I left Max Well Massage feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the care I received. I will definitely be referring this place to everyone I know and plan to return for more sessions. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape and effective relief, I highly recommend giving Max Well Massage a try!

This massage house is brand new – opened today. And, it is beautiful. Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Well appointed massage rooms. My massage therapist was excellent. He listened to my needs and wants. Then, he worked his magic. There are many massage options. And, prices are fair. I left calm and relaxed. Exactly what I had hoped for. I’ll be back. Well worth a visit.
