If you ever find yourself in Crescent City, go to Marlos. The food is made fresh from scratch. You have to try the tomato bisque and save room for the tiramisu!
Did I mention the portions are generous but the fabulous Alanzo helped us pick just the right combo. Definitely recommend and we will come back!

When you have a family of five to feed, finding a restaurant that makes everyone happy without breaking the bank can be a tall order. Luckily, Marlo’s Restaurant on M Street in Crescent City completely exceeded our expectations. My wife and I were looking for a relaxed sit-down dinner, and this cozy restaurant delivered a fantastic experience on all fronts.
The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and the friendly staff made sure our three kids were comfortable and well taken care of right from the start. I highly recommend the Gyro Sandwich Combo. The portions are also incredibly generous for the price, ensuring you will likely leave with plenty of leftovers for the next day. You can immediately tell the kitchen puts real passion into their from-scratch recipes. There is truly something for every palate.
Even my eight-year-old son, who can sometimes be a selective eater, quickly devoured his meal. We simply could not resist finishing the evening by sharing an order of their authentic tiramisu. It is so refreshing to find an independent local gem that serves high-quality, comforting dishes while still maintaining an inviting, family-centric vibe. If you want a hearty, delicious meal in Crescent City, Marlo’s is an absolute must-visit. Cheers!

This place was delicious. They should be packed!! The outside is unassuming but inside is nice! I like they dont have 12 million things on the menu. We came in at lunch time and lunch portions were plenty. Staff were really attentive. Let the empty plates speak for themselves allll the food was so good

Authentic Greek and Italian fare! Our dishes were flavorful and on point. The gyro plate, kebabs, chicken carbonara, and baklava taste like delicious homemade dishes! We highly recommend Marlo’s!

Friendly service, heavy food — mixed experience
We came here looking for a lighter meal, but most of the food was quite rich and heavy. The dishes weren’t bad — just very filling and oily. We had lunch and didn’t feel like eating anything else for the rest of the day.
The staff was fantastic — very friendly and attentive, always checking in to make sure we were okay. The place was clean, and service was great.
We tried the pasta and schnitzel — the schnitzel was genuinely delicious. The rest of the food was average and a bit too greasy for our taste.
✨ What we do highly recommend are their drinks! The Italian cream sodas and lemonades were outstanding — flavorful, refreshing, and really unique. Definitely worth trying if you visit.
The menu is large, so you might find something that works better for your preferences — like a salad. Overall, it’s an okay spot if you’re not watching for something light, and service definitely makes the experience more pleasant.
