Had high expectations based on the ratings and photos, left very disappointed. I’ve never met a more apathetic staff, it was hard to get them off their phone watching movies to even get a single drink. The 20$ shrimp cocktail was basically tomato soup with 4 small shrimp in it. The Michaelada of their namesake was a giant goblet of grocery store Clamato juice and a beer on the side. Place was empty on a Friday night and wreaked of 0 effort in every aspect. I hope they find their purpose or motivation again at some point, it was just sad to be in there.
Stopped in late and the chef and dude were so great! Big tacos, added fried jalapeño off the menu for us. Good, loud music. Looks a little more greek than super awesome seafood mexican resto.
Would have been 3 or 4 stars had we not found several roaches in the soda glass.
Instead of apologizing the waiter decided to pretend not to see them. Then once acknowledging them he looked at the other drink glasses and said “but those are ok”. Total lack of accountability, not even an attempt to apologize or even look surprised.
4 roaches at the bottom of glass…… after it was nearly all drank.
Immediately lost appetite and didn’t continue eating. Waiter was clueless and offered to go box.

ATMOSPHERE: There is a relaxing ambiance 3 pm. The music is not loud or obnoxious in any way.
SERVICE: Immediately greeted and served with drinks. They also took our order right away which was nice. The Staff is very attentive to our needs.
FOOD: The Michelada-lacked flavor, like and clamato. It was very light in color. The food was great, we had oysters a fish plate and La Torre which is plenty of fish bundled on a delicious plate.
PARKING: You pay a $20 for 10 Hours, the server mentioned that some days they only charge you $11. Also you will have to scan the QR code located on the wall in the Ace Parking lot not owned or managed by the restaurant.
Best authentic mariscos we have had in a long time. This will definitely be our go to whenever in San Diego . We had the aguachile verde and aguachile negro. They were both delicious! Also the surf an turf taco was really good. Family owned business and everyone is very nice. We were greeted by both young men that were working both the bar and the tables. I recommend if you are looking for authentic flavor. Nice decor for selfie opportunities as well.
