Lundardi’s remains the anchor tenant of this neighborhood shopping center and continues to provide the everyday essentials that keep the plaza relevant. Walking through the center brings back memories of the community shopping centers that were common throughout California for decades.

While the property could certainly benefit from some modernization and remodeling, there’s also something refreshing about seeing a place that hasn’t completely lost its original identity. The shaded walkways, mature landscaping, and familiar storefronts still create a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere

Disappointed in the selection and service over past year. Lunardi’s previously carried a greater variety to choose from. It used to be my one stop for ALL my groceries, basics and specialty items. Now I am NOT finding the basics I need and must determine where to shop based on what I need. Or, I end up at two different stores t cover my list. In addition, it went from having a friendly and helpful staff, many who were long- time employees who always asked if you found everything you needed, to indifference with a lack of customer focus. I long for the good old days.

FOLLOW UP – I did ask Lunardis staff about the items I can no longer find. I was informed the changes are due to the supplier no longer able to get or no longer providing certain products. Tariffs have impacted imported goods, and supply chains and costs are challenging the grocery business. Heard the same thing from Knob Hill Market. I guess I will spend more effort to track down certain products, or just deal with the inconsistency of the current market. At least I better understand these sudden changes.

Used to live in the area, shopped here for years. My wife and I picked up a couple of prime steaks for Thanksgiving, a filet for her and a rib eye for my self. Both were cooked to perfection but had no real flavor even with seasoning. We live a distance away and shop at Liras in Rio Vista, the meat market there has Harris Ranch beef and the quality is better than what we received from Lunardis. Very disappointed!

Loved their fresh sushi! Everything was delicious—spicy mayo, spicy shrimp roll, California roll, tempura roll. They also had sashimi, chicken potstickers, and pork buns. The sushi was super fresh and just really, really good.

Shoutout to Peter at the “few items” register—friendly, fast, and super thoughtful. He even added rubber bands to the sushi containers so they wouldn’t pop open in the bag. Really appreciated that. Thank you!!
