I’ve shopped there every now and then. Never had an unpleasant experience. Prices are about the same as the other supermarkets. They close at 10:00 an hour earlier then the others, but all in all they are one of my top three choices to shop for groceries.
Garret Matt.
This Lucky’s has consistently struggled to maintain a standard that makes shopping here ideal since dropping the name Albertsons almost two decades ago.
In the last month I stopped in to check their prices for Eggs, Dairy, and Meat (The essentials). I am blown away by the changes they have made. The quality and effort spent on their Meat Selection alone is enough for me to make them my first choice for groceries.
If they hire some more employees like Alan i’m certain this store would be a powerhouse in the Ukiah area.

Wonderful place to shop. Make sure to set up an online account and download the luckys app to clip digital coupons. Saves quite a bit on groceries if used.
Purple Tiger
Great store with nice employees. However, make sure to read the fine print on the sales and discounts advertised in the store, as some of them require you to log into the mobile app to activate the coupon.
They often have discounted things in big, square bins near the checkout, such as small snack bags for $1 each. They also have magazines and puzzle books (such as crosswords and sudoku) near the checkouts.
The ready-to-eat sandwiches are really good.
There are even some claw machines near the entrance to the store.

We didn’t go in there for about 3 years and now the employee that caused all the problems has been fired. We’re starting to go back in there a little more everyday. There’s still some really nice employees there. The prices are a little high but it’s great for quick trips. You forgot something you need to get it before you go home. You just want dinner that night so it’s really good for those. We grocery shop all over so we grocery shop there and other places!
