This is a somewhat small restaurant, but it also has an outdoor area.

The food is delicious and the portion size is large! You definitely get your money’s worth when you order a meal.

The restaurant is clean, well kept, and more importantly so is the restroom! The staff are friendly and nice and happy to see you, cleaning off tables quickly once they’re vacated.

    10/10 would recommend.

So I’m wandering into Fortuna looking for a place to have lunch after a few misses, one place a little pretentious ( like a chamber of commerce meeting place), another place closing as I walk to the door, I find this cafe across from the Fortuna Theater that’s still open for a half hour longer.
Great vibes from the “get go.” Homemade chilli on the menu, pancakes, sandwiches, a breakfast, lunch place.
I decide to try and order off the menu and ask for a pancake with a layer of chili and two fried eggs on top. ” No problem, how do you want the eggs cooked?”
Then I notice a drinks menu. L’s serves liquor! An Irish coffee with my custom pancakes, man, I’m a happy camper.
The four hour drive back to Richmond was a breeze thanks to a cool little restaurant in Fortuna called L’s.
    Thank you L.

Stopped by to have breakfast here from our 14th anniversary trip up Northern California. The French toast was really good! Biscuits and gravy was delicious! Loved it! Pretty much everything served was delicious and definitely recommend. Place is a big small so has limited seating. They are quick to attend to you. Food takes awhile but it’s worth the wait.

Came in after a local who works in the Casino advised me this is the breakfast place to eat at.

Walking in the decor is of the origination of the town meaning that its a bit out of date.

    Today I ordered the following:
    1 Pancake
    1 Biscuit
    1 Cinnamon Roll
    A Cup of Fruit
    Side of Potatoes

The cinnamon roll was perfect in everyway.
From the soft flakey crust to the buttery glaze.

The pancake was a great cake.
The biscuit was a bit dry and crumbled the moment cut into it.
The fruit was definitely fresh and amazing.

The potatoes were thin and perfectly crispy.

The food hit a 4 out of 5 stars for me.

The customer service was lacking. I was not checked on and had to ask for my own refill as the waitress Abby was more worried about her neighbor and the love triangle that she is wrapped up in than helping her customers.

The was a man seated in front of me and no one even checked or gave him water for 15 until his girlfriend walked in.

Overall the food was hitting minus the biscuit being extremely dry. The customer service was lacking. I should have been in and out within an hour and I was in the restaurant for over an hour and a half because the staff was lacking. Not the cook the staff.
