We had a nice dinner at Lovina on our second night in Calistoga. The food was good – all dishes were consistently fresh and hearty, with two real standouts being the cream of mushroom (soup du jour) and risotto. Only negative note regarding the outdoor seating were the annoying flies, which bothered our table the entire meal.

Delicious food! The experience and service was great. The staff was super nice and helpful, Anthony and Ian. The atmosphere was excellent. And such a nice touch to have a custom menu to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The owner made it super special for us and we are happy we picked this spot.

Wow! What an incredible restaurant to enjoy a 10 year anniversary! Anthony did a great job serving us and we tried every entree on the menu. Group favorites were the chicken and halibut.
The soup shot was awesome!. Also.loved the cocktails!

We were in town for the weekend and had a memorable dinner here.
The amazing team was extremely warm and welcoming from first contact to the end of the meal. We brought our pup along with us and we never felt out of place!
The food was also a highlight! We tried the polenta mushroom bites, it was full of flavor and texture (solid exterior and creamy interior). The wine country bruschetta was refreshing and you could tasted the high quality ingredients. The kale and duck confit salad had a hint of asian flavors. We should’ve ordered a second. To finish the meal, we shared the heritage pork and beef bolognese. The sauce had a wonderful balance and was not too acidic.
In addition to great food, they also take care of their employees. They have a tip free menu, revenue share, 401k, insurance and paid time off! They should be applauded for this!
Next time we are in Calistoga we’ll definitely have to visit Lovina again.

Loved this place, vegan options were very good! We had fresh sourdough bread, little gem salad- sub balsamic dressing, the endive cups- small portion for the $, I would skip that one, broccolini was exceptional, lasagna nice portion but the price for all pretty high, I know prices had tip built in but still on high side for portion size!
The vegan snickers.. was bomb!
